Job Description
Pay: Up to $2,300/week in total compensation
Schedule: Day shift; typically 40 hours/week
Contract: Approximately 13 weeks

Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, provide skilled therapeutic interventions, monitor functional progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe and effective patient outcomes.
Assignments may be available in hospital, outpatient, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or other clinical settings depending on the specific opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish appropriate plans of care
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and independence
- Independently manage an assigned patient caseload
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the facility’s electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other members of the care team
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment, mobility, safety, and home programs
- Participate in discharge planning and help patients transition to the least restrictive appropriate setting
- Follow facility policies, clinical standards, infection-control requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments, workflows, equipment, and documentation systems
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice in Arizona
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent accredited physical therapy education
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent Physical Therapist experience preferred
- Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
- Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to complete required credentialing, background screening, and drug screening
- Previous travel healthcare experience preferred, but not required for all assignments
Compensation
Pays up to $2,300/week in total compensation.
Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, schedule, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under DOMNOVATE Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.
