What Success Looks LikeIn your first year, success means the plan gets better and the business has greater confidence in it. We will look for progress in five areas:Forecast quality: Reduce persistent forecast bias and improve accuracy at the SKU-channel level, measured at the forecast lag that reflects manufacturing and replenishment lead times. Assess bias alongside accuracy measures such as MAPEInventory health: Improve weeks of supply and in-stock performance together. Reduce excess and obsolete inventory as a share of total inventory and manage the air-freight mix against targetSupplier performance: Improve on-time delivery, quality, and capacity reliability. Use scorecards to drive candid conversations, corrective actions, and demonstrated changes in supplier behaviorS&OP: Drive clear decisions each cycle. Bring executives a shared understanding of the numbers so the discussion focuses on service, cost, and inventory trade-offs, with documented decisions and ownersTeam: Develop planners who proactively surface risks and recommend actions before escalation. Planning should identify emerging issues before Sales has to raise them
