BEPC is actively looking for Sr Advanced Engineer in the Phoenix, Arizona area! W2 Contract – Approximately 6 months, with possible extensions! Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Pay Rate: $55.65 - $58.65 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly) Work Model: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week onsite preferred. Remote work can be accommodated; fully remote employees may need to visit the Phoenix site for customer critical design reviews or test support. Note : This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered Summary of the Role: BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will support the Performance transfer NPSS modeling techniques to others; and be responsible for engine definition through all phases of the new product introduction (NPI) process. The engines power a range of commercial and military aerospace platforms. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Build, debug, refine, and maintain steady state and transient thermal models using NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation). Develop NPSS customer models. Transfer NPSS modeling techniques to others. Perform requirements analysis and decomposition. Provide test coverage and data reduction to support engine development and qualification. Communicate with leadership, customers, and peers through presentations and technical reports. Work collaboratively across engineering disciplines and teams to build accurate systems models in a Model Based Systems Engineering environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, or engineering. At least four years of turbine engine Performance work independently; adapt to changing priorities; and manage multiple complex tasks. Proven record of solving complex engineering problems.
