We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join an enterprise infrastructure engineering team in Lower Manhattan. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building, automating and supporting highly resilient, secure AWS environments where reliability and scalability truly matter.You will work with a broad AWS technology stack while helping engineer cloud infrastructure that supports critical enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants ownership, technical challenge and the ability to work closely with an experienced engineering team.
What You'll Be DoingBuild, maintain and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as CodeDesign and maintain automated GitLab CI/CD pipelinesDeploy and support custom applications, AWS services and commercial software within AWSBuild and maintain highly resilient and secure cloud infrastructureContainerize applications and middleware for AWS deploymentSupport deployment, recovery and rehydration of AWS environmentsWork across AWS networking, compute, database, storage, security and monitoring servicesCollaborate with engineering teams and internal customers to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges
What We're Looking ForStrong hands-on experience with:AWS Cloud InfrastructureTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeGitLab CI/CDEC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, RDS PostgreSQL, SQL RDS and ECS/FargateVPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ALB/ELB, Route 53, DNS and EFSCloudWatch and GrafanaAWS IAM, encryption, key management, certificates and vulnerability managementContainerized middleware such as NGINX, JBoss, Tomcat or CorrettoWorking knowledge of Java, Python or ScalaDevSecOps, Agile/Scrum and JIRA environmentsExperience with Databricks, Starburst, AWS Glue, EKS, Multi-AZ or Multi-Region AWS architectures is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and AWS certifications are preferred.
