Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Employment and Labor Litigation Associate in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, providing high-level advice on employment law compliance, and defending companies in complex employment actions.DutiesProvide day-to-day advice on employment law compliance issues.Litigate trade secret and employee mobility cases.Defend companies in wrongful termination and discrimination disputes.Conduct workplace investigations, including C-suite level.Perform due diligence in corporate transactions.Negotiate executive employment and separation agreements.Requirements4-6 years of litigation experience.Strong writing and client relations skills.Ability to manage litigation independently.Trial experience preferred but not required.Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.CertificationsState bar admission.SkillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in drafting and arguing briefs and motions.Experience in taking and defending depositions.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.Parental leave and family benefits.Tax-free health accounts: HSA and FSA.401(k) or Roth 401(k) plans.Global wellness program access.Flex Time Away and reduced schedule arrangements.Paid annual fees for state bar registration and professional associations.In-house pro bono counsel support.Matching gift programs for donations.
