Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based at WCF's facility in Gujranwala. The Fashion Designer will develop apparel concepts using WCF's range of luxury fabrics, create sketches and technical drawings, and translate designs into production-ready samples. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the textile and production teams, selecting appropriate fabrics and trims, overseeing fittings, and refining designs for quality, comfort, and style. The role will also involve staying informed about fashion trends, preparing mood boards and collections, and supporting client presentations and custom design projects. The Fashion Designer will work closely with merchandisers and sales teams to ensure designs align with market demands, brand identity, and production capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with experience in developing cohesive collections and individual garments.
• Sound knowledge of Textiles, including fabric properties, drape, and suitability for different garment types.
• Practical expertise in Embroidery design and application for value-added detailing on garments.
• Experience with Fitting and garment construction, including pattern adjustments and quality assessment.
• Proficiency in hand sketching and/or digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD software) is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret trends, build mood boards, and translate concepts into commercially viable products.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and collaboration skills for working with production and sales teams.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred; prior experience in apparel or textile industries is an advantage.
