Provide interim telehealth outpatient psychiatric care for adults, including psychiatric evaluations, new patient intakes, follow-up visits, and medication management. The role centers on maintaining continuity of care for established patients while working within a supported clinic workflow. Documentation and medication ordering are completed in Cerner, with collaboration from clinic staff and MindCare Solutions’ clinical and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth.
• Provide care for adult patients during new patient intakes and follow-up appointments.
• Document encounters and enter medication orders in the clinic’s EHR (Cerner).
• Work collaboratively with clinic staff to support continuity of care.
• Participate in a supported interim coverage model for outpatient psychiatry.

Required

• Active Wyoming medical license.
• DEA registration, or ability to obtain it quickly.
• MD degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry.
• Comfort providing care in a telehealth setting and using an EHR for documentation and orders.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing and onboarding.

Preferred

• PMHNP candidates with at least 3 years of experience serving outpatient clinics in Wyoming.
