Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) seeks an Animal Technician to support our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. In this role, you’ll assist veterinarians and licensed technicians with patient restraint, treatments, and monitoring, prepare exam and procedure areas, clean and disinfect kennels and equipment, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. You’ll handle lab samples, operate basic diagnostic equipment, and provide compassionate, calm support to pets and owners in stressful situations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, comfortable with fast-paced emergency work, and eager to learn in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
