Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Chandigarh, India. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, project-wise costing, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making for construction and real estate activities. The Chartered Accountant will handle tax planning and compliance, statutory filings, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities. The position also includes implementing and improving internal controls, supporting management with financial reports and forecasts, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Qualifications
Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with active membership in a professional accounting body. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to India. Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools. Experience in construction, real estate, or project-based accounting is highly beneficial. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in high-volume environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial information. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
