At SRS Pharmacy Systems, our Technical Support Specialists work hands-on with Linux environments, databases, hardware, networking, system configurations, and software troubleshooting. You'll investigate problems, identify root causes, take ownership of issues, and work directly with our software development and operations teams to get complex problems resolved.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems & Database Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical, database, network, and system-level software issues.
• Linux Environment Deployment: Set up, configure, and deploy Linux-based pharmacy server and terminal hardware/software environments.
• Platform Rollout & Transition Support: Assist pharmacy clients and staff during major platform upgrades and system migrations across our nationwide customer base .
• Technical Escalation: Collaborate directly with internal software development and operations teams to elevate and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Linux Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Linux OS environments, command-line administration, or Linux system configuration.
• IT / Technical Support Background: Proven experience in IT desktop/server support, system administration, or healthcare technology support.
• Analytical Problem Solver: Exceptional troubleshooting skills (you aren't satisfied until you understand the underlying root cause of an issue).
• Communication Skills: Clear, patient communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to end-users.
• Methodical Mindset: You recognize the importance of learning how a complex system operates before making adjustments or attempting fixes.
• Task Ownership: You take full ownership of tickets, ensuring issues are followed through to complete resolution.
• Active Listener: You listen carefully to understand user issues completely before taking action.
• Location: Must be willing to work on-site at our office in Caro, MI.
