Our client is a well-known food manufacturer with a few plants in the US. Due to growth, seeking a Maintenance Mechanics for its plant in Maryland. Primary duties/responsibilities include: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance, installations, and equipment modifications Support facilities maintenance as needed Maintain OSHA and SOP-compliant work areas Report equipment status to management and production teams Ideal candidates for Maintenance Mechanics will possess the following: Associate degree in electro-technology, military technical training, or vocational trade school 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting (food production preferred) Proficiency with PLCs, automation systems, and electrical schematics Familiarity with lean 5S and GMP standards Salary Range $25-$38/hr (depending on experience).
