Westvic Staffing Solutions , in partnership with Clifton Springs Golf Club , is seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to undertake a Sports Turf Management Apprenticeship . This exciting opportunity will allow you to join the golf course team and gain the skills and knowledge needed to maintain high-quality sporting surfaces.

This is more than mowing lawns — you’ll learn how to prepare, maintain and improve playing surfaces while working alongside experienced turf professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE LEARNING

• Mowing and maintaining fairways, greens and surrounds
• Turf renovation, fertilising and irrigation
• Weed, pest and disease management
• Soil preparation and turf improvement
• Operating and maintaining turf management machinery
• Maintaining gardens, bunkers and course surrounds
• Setting up and preparing the course for competitions and events
• Understanding turf health, drainage and seasonal maintenance
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a professional grounds and maintenance team
