Cardiovascular Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24;On Call Pay Rate: $3104.00 - $3360.00
This facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage only
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, Level II Trauma Center
- Types of Cases: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
- Approximately 3-5 consults per week, 1-3 surgeries per week (typically 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic cases), Patient load of approximately 10-12 patients per week, Must be comfortable performing cases independently without NP assist
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
- Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified and Board Eligible
- Licensure Required: Active Utah Medical License required at presentation, Active Utah Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) candidates will be considered
