Area Sales Executive – Orthopedic Implants (Trauma / Spine / Joints)

About the role
Nebula is expanding its orthopedic implant business across Odisha and needs a field-first sales executive who already speaks the language of trauma, spine, and joint surgeons. You'll own distributor relationships and surgeon engagement across your territory, turning OT-floor visibility into consistent case volume and market share growth.

What you'll do
Market & Surgeon Engagement
- Build and maintain direct relationships with orthopedic surgeons across trauma, spine, and joint replacement practices in your territory
- Identify new hospitals, surgeons, and case opportunities to expand Nebula's implant footprint
- Attend surgeries as needed to provide on-the-spot product knowledge and implant handling support to OT staff and surgeons
Distributor & Channel Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with distributors — order flow, stock availability, and payment follow-ups
- Coach distributor sales staff on product positioning and competitive differentiation
- Resolve distributor and hospital escalations quickly to protect Nebula's reputation in the field
Sales Execution
- Convert market opportunities into confirmed cases through consistent follow-up and surgeon persuasion
- Track territory performance, surgeon activity, and case pipeline against monthly targets
- Travel extensively across the assigned Odisha territory to cover hospitals, distributors, and surgical cases
- Must have
- 2-6 years of sales experience in orthopedic implants — trauma, spine, or joints
- Established contacts with orthopedic surgeons in Odisha
- Experience handling distributors and driving channel sales
- Comfortable assisting surgical cases with on-ground product knowledge support
- Willingness to travel extensively across the state
- Strong convincing power and market development skills
