Senior Analyst / Manager, FP&A and M&A

Our Scottsdale-based client is an established leader in its industry seeking a Senior Analyst or Manager to support both FP&A and M&A initiatives. This individual will work closely with the VP of Finance playing a key role in financial planning, analysis and strategic growth initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on financial planning, cash management and strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive finance professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes and supporting a business through growth and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:Analyze daily cash activity and develop short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to support business operationsPrepare financial analyses related to liquidity, working capital and lending requirementsPerform variance analysis, develop financial models and provide insights to support strategic decisionsAssist with acquisition-related financial activities, including due diligence, integration and financial reportingAssist with lender reporting, debt compliance and treasury-related deliverablesSupport the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts and monthly financial performance reportingPartner with accounting, operations and executive leadership to improve financial reporting and streamline processesParticipate in special projects, system enhancements and other corporate finance initiatives
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or public accountingStrong understanding of M&A, forecasting, financial reporting and cash flow managementExperience working with debt reporting or acquisition-related activities is a plusAdvanced Excel skills with experience using ERP or financial reporting systemsStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsExperience in a high-growth, multi-entity or acquisitive environment is preferred
