Position Overview
The Brand Ambassador – Premium Baby Products will represent a premium baby products brand at retail locations throughout the NY Metro area. This role focuses on engaging customers, demonstrating product features, educating shoppers on product benefits, and driving sales through personalized recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a passion for sales. Previous experience with strollers or baby products is not required. Candidates with backgrounds in premium retail, fashion, accessories, hospitality, fitness, wellness, or experiential marketing are encouraged to apply.
This is an ongoing opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities Of The Brand Ambassador – Premium Baby Products
Work in high-volume retail locations and proactively engage customers shopping for strollers and related products.Deliver polished, engaging product demonstrations and explain key features and benefits.Physically demonstrate product functionality, including folding, unfolding, and maneuvering strollers.Educate customers on available products, explain differences between models, and recommend options based on their needs and lifestyles.Communicate the value of premium products by highlighting design, engineering, quality, and innovation.Help new and expecting parents understand product features and make informed purchasing decisions.Encourage customers who are not ready to purchase to add products to their baby registries.Communicate retail partner questions, customer feedback, and product concerns to the appropriate account manager.Monitor customer engagement, store traffic, product interest, and competitor activity.Support retail events, brand activations, and additional brand initiatives as needed.
Required Experience/Skills For The Brand Ambassador – Premium Baby Products
Strong personality with an outgoing, approachable, and engaging presence.Demonstrated sales ability and confidence initiating conversations with customers.Excellent communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills.Ability to explain product features clearly and make personalized recommendations.Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned retail locations.Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift, move, maneuver, fold, and unfold products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a retail environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The Brand Ambassador – Premium Baby Products
Experience in premium or luxury retail, fashion, accessories, or specialty retail.Background in brand ambassador work, experiential marketing, fitness, wellness, hospitality, or client-facing roles.Experience promoting premium products or delivering interactive product demonstrations.Interest in consumer products, retail sales, and customer education.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
