Baylor Shift:

• Maximize your time off with our dedicated Baylor Shift (weekend/compressed) schedule!

• Work just 2 days a weekcovering weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)24 hours total and receive full time pay equivalent to 40 hours, along with 5 days off to recharge.

• Perfect for radiology professionals seeking exceptional work-life balance.

• Enjoy three weekends off each year.

What you will do

• Perform basic computed tomography techniques and examinations:
• Conducts a variety of basic computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, portable CT scans and post-processing.
• Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation:
• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors.
• Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information.
• Document all related data.
• Adhere to ALARA standards
• Other Responsibilities:
• Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
• Resolve and escalate complex issues.
• Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
• Subject to on-call status including weekends, holidays and other shifts as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED Required
• Technical Diploma Radiology Program Required

Experience Qualifications

• pediatric experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - within 12 months - Required or
• Computed Tomography (CT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - within 12 months - Required and
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - Required

Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging (Required proficiency)
• Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) (Required proficiency)
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (Required proficiency)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (Required proficiency)
• Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Required proficiency)
• Excellent interpersonal skills (Required proficiency)
• Excellent time management skills (Required proficiency)
• Excellent organizational skills (Required proficiency)
