We’re looking for a Civil Structural Engineer with direct substation experience to join our growing team. In this mid-level role, you’ll design concrete foundations and steel structures for substations that power the national grid. This is a technical, non-supervisory position ideal for engineers looking to deepen their impact on major utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:Develop engineering designs and calculations for concrete foundations and steel support structuresAnalyze structures using tools like STAAD, MathCAD, and LPILECreate and review engineering deliverables, working closely with designers and draftersEnsure all designs meet ASCE 113 and other applicable codes and standardsCollaborate across teams to support high-quality, timely project delivery
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering3+ years of civil/structural engineering experience in substation projects xzbcwsv Professional Engineer license requiredProficiency in STAAD, MathCAD, LPILE, or comparable analysis toolsExperience with reinforced concrete and structural steel designFamiliarity with transmission and distribution utility standards
