FME Technical Specialist

We are looking for an experienced FME Specialist to join our team and take ownership of enterprise GIS integration and automation in the Oil & Gas sector.

Mandatory Expertise

• Strong hands‑on experience with FME Flow Server Engines (Queues, Automations).
• Proven skills in FME Desktop Workbench development .
• Experience managing large‑scale FME jobs or similar enterprise GIS workloads in Oil & Gas.
• Deep understanding of:
• Geospatial data formats & standards
• Enterprise data integration patterns
• Performance optimization of FME jobs

Technical Skills

• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• GIS Platforms: ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online
• Scripting: Python for FME automation
• OS/Infra: Linux, Windows Server , basic networking concepts
• Ops: Job monitoring, log analysis, incident management

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud or hybrid FME Flow deployments
• Exposure to DevOps / CI/CD automation pipelines
• Safe Software FME certifications
• Supporting global Oil & Gas GIS operations

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership mindset & operational discipline
• Ability to manage business‑critical, high‑visibility jobs
• Excellent documentation & stakeholder communication skills
• Comfortable working with global teams (offshore/onshore models)

Role Fit – Ideal Candidate

• Acts as the single point technical owner for the FME platform
• Has supported enterprise GIS programs in Oil & Gas or equivalent industries
• Balances architecture, operations, and hands‑on delivery
