Quality Engineer (North Charleston)

Job Summary Our client, Raycap, requires this position to ensure engineering and manufacturing processes are performed correctly with the appropriate tools, materials, and methods, while also training employees to meet quality standards and uphold safety requirements. This hands-on, onsite role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and strong communication skills when working with production assemblers, fabrication specialists (welding, machining, paint), and test technicians. Pay: $90K - $100K + 10 - 15% bonus **Company does not sponsor for this role** Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain Raycap quality processes to ensure continual 100% customer satisfaction Inspect and test various parts of manufacturing, including products, components, processes, and comparing against predefined standards Provide quality tools, methods, and data to assure ongoing defect-free quality both internally and at the supplier level Analyze problems reported and develop improvements to overcome them RMA Analysis and NCR resolution internal and external Statistical analysis of manufacturing data and creation of reports for senior staff members based on quality documentation Maintain and improve the processes for Quality Management (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), Telecom Quality Management System (TL9000) and Occupational Health Master’s degree in Quality Assurance a plus Minimum 4 + year of experience in a technical field with significant hands-on quality and manufacturing experience Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems; ISO 18001 - Environmental Management Systems; ISO 45001 - Health
