Job Description

We are seeking a talented Video Content Editor who can transform raw footage and long-form content into high-quality, engaging videos for digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Extract strong and engaging moments from long-form content.
• Create short clips suitable for social media.
• Add subtitles, captions, graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects.
• Improve video pacing and storytelling.
• Create content that captures attention within the first few seconds.
• Follow editing instructions and brand guidelines.
• Complete projects according to deadlines.
• Handle revisions and feedback professionally.

Requirements

• Experience with video editing and social media content.
• Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Understanding of social media video trends.
• Good eye for detail and visual quality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple editing tasks.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work.

Preferred

• Experience editing podcasts, interviews, talking-head videos, or educational content.
• Understanding of viral short-form content.

Job Specification

• Practical experience editing video from raw footage to final export.
• Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or an equivalent tool.
• Ability to build a clear narrative through shot selection, sequencing, pacing, and continuity.
• Working knowledge of audio cleanup, music placement, colour correction, titles, and basic motion graphics.
• Understanding of common digital video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform-specific export settings.
• Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and ability to follow a creative brief.
• Good file management, time management, and responsiveness to review feedback.
• A portfolio or sample edits demonstrating relevant video work.
