Requirements:Hands on experience with PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Rockwell/ Allen Bradley, Siemens)Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript (Node.js)Experience with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, EtherNet/IP)Familiarity with robotic automation systems (FANUC preferred)Experience with SCADA and MES systems (Ignitions preferred) used in automotive production

Description: An employer is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer in Liberty, NC. You will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of edge computing and Industrial IoT solutions within a highly automated manufacturing environment. This role will bridge operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems by integrating PLCs, robotics, vision systems, SCADA, MES, and cloud platforms to enable real-time data visibility, predictive maintenance, and continuous process improvement.
