Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist (Full Time, Days)

Job Summary Primary responsibility in association with the attending physician(s), for the management of Pediatric Hospital Medicine patients within the Clinical Observation Unit (COU) inclusive of patients admitted under Pediatric Hospital Medicine observation status to other areas of the hospital should the COU be at maximum capacity. Participates in pediatric patient's clinical care demonstrating high levels of critical thinking skills as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include completing history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting radiological and laboratory test results, prescribing medications, documenting patient care services within EMR and departmental records, and performing within scope of practice and demonstrated competency.
