Location: Juno Beach FL (Remote)Full Time Permanent Job DescriptionThe Senior Integration Developer (API Platform) is responsible for designing, building, automating, and operating CLIENT's enterprise API platforms supporting the Unified Digital Platform (UDP) strategy. This role serves as a senior technicalcontributor responsible for API gateway engineering, platform automation, developer enablement, operational excellence, and API lifecycle management.The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise with Apigee, cloud-native architectures, API security, CI/CD automation, observability, and platform engineering. This role partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Cloud Engineering, and Product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available API services that accelerate digital transformation initiatives across CLIENT. The position supports the broader API Platform Architect by implementing platform standards, reference architectures, and operational practicesJob ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise API platform capabilities utilizing ApigeeDevelop API proxies, shared flows, reusable policies, and reference integration patternsImplement API lifecycle management practices including versioning, deployment, documentation, and retirement.Support adoption of API-first architecture principles across engineering teamsEnsure platform scalability, resiliency, performance, and availability requirements are achievedConfigure and manage Apigee organizations, environments, environment groups, and deploymentsAdminister IAM, RBAC, service accounts, certificates, and platform security configurations.Design and implement routing, traffic control, rate limiting, load balancing, and policy enforcement mechanismsSupport gateway upgrades, platform maintenance, and operational governance requirements.Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis activitiesDesign and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions supporting API platform operationsBuild and support CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and lifecycle automation.Implement automated testing, validation, quality controls, and deployment workflowCollaborate with Cloud Engineering teams to ensure platform reliability and operational efficiency.Promote platform portability and standards-based deployment practices. xzbcwsv Implement enterprise API security controls and standardsConfigure OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, encryption, and threat protection policiesManage certificate lifecycle and secure connectivity patterns.Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities and architecture reviewsEnsure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and governance requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experienceAWS API Gateway experience7+ years of software engineering, integration engineering, or platform engineering experience3+ years hands-on API management platform experience with ApigeeExperience administering enterprise-grade API platformsStrong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-codeStrong understanding of API security, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, and certificate managementExperience supporting highly available production platformsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsTechnical SkillsApigee, REST APIs, OpenAPI / Swagger, API Lifecycle Management, API Product Management, API Developer PortalsGCP), Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Infrastructure as CodeOAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS/SSL, Certificate ManagementGrafana, Open Telemetry, Logging and Monitoring Platforms, API AnalyticsJava, JavaScript, Python, Shell Scripting
