Position SummaryThe Financial Controller will serve as the company's senior accounting professional and will be responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. As the company grows, this individual will design scalable financial processes, implement best practices, and build the future accounting and finance organization. The successful candidate is equally comfortable performing day-to-day accounting activities while also serving as a strategic business partner to leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting LeadershipLead all accounting operations for the companyOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processPrepare timely and accurate financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standardsDevelop accounting policies and proceduresFinancial ManagementManage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planningDevelop annual budgets and financial forecasts Prepare management reporting and executive dashboardsOperational FinanceOversee Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableManage payroll accounting and related reporting Reconcile bank accounts and maintain fixed asset recordsCompliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirementsManage annual financial reviews or auditsDevelop internal controls to safeguard company assetsStrategic LeadershipPartner with executive leadership on business strategyDevelop KPIs and financial performance metrics Recommend process improvements that increase operational efficiencySystems & Process DevelopmentLead accounting software implementation and optimizationBuild scalable accounting processes for future growthDocument financial workflows and internal proceduresTeam DevelopmentAs Enbasis grows, the Financial Controller will:Build the accounting and finance teamDevelop departmental processes and standardsCreate a culture of accountability and continuous improvementRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance7+ years of progressive accounting experience3+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager roleStrong knowledge of GAAPExperience leading monthly financial closeExperience with budgeting and forecastingAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with modern accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Strong analytical and problem-solving xzbcwsv skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsCPA designation preferredMBA is a plusExperience working in a startup or high-growth environmentTechnology or SaaS industry experienceExperience implementing ERP or accounting systemsExperience supporting fundraising, banking relationships, or investor reportingKnowledge of multi-entity accounting is a plusCompetitive compensation package including:Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus opportunityHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidaysOpportunity for future leadership growth as the company expandsSalary Range $100k to $120K Enbasis Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
