Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in SD-WAN architecture, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, including both Central Management System (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with leading SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewall solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, and flexiWAN.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions across Central Management (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.
• Work on SD-WAN overlay and underlay network architecture.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPN technologies, including IPsec and site-to-site VPN.
• Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols such as: OSPF, BGP, RIP.
• Work with routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, and firewall policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot WAN connectivity across multiple links and service providers.
• Understand SD-WAN features such as path selection, link monitoring, failover, load balancing, and application-aware routing.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues.
• Participate in interoperability testing with third-party networking and security products.
• Support product testing, validation, PoC, and customer deployments.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, System Architecture, and Product teams.
• Adhere to high quality software development standards.
• Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.

Skills and Experience:

• 5- 8 Years of hands-on experience in networking and network security.
• Strong practical experience with SD-WAN solutions , including CMS/Controller and Edge devices.
• Hands-on exposure to one or more of: Cisco SD-WAN /Fortinet / FortiGate SD-WAN /Palo Alto/ Networks SD-WAN /flexiWAN.
• Strong understanding of VPN and IPsec ,OSPF, BGP ,RIP ,TCP/IP networking ,Routing and Switching, VLAN and VRF, NAT and Firewall policies
• Good understanding of SD-WAN Overlay and Underlay architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Experience working with Linux networking will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
• Understanding of High Availability (HA) and network redundancy.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, NSE, PCNSE, or equivalent are preferred.
