The Position

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Data Center & Infrastructure Partner to join its Washington, D.C. office. This is an exciting opportunity for an established partner or senior attorney with a strong background in data centers, energy, project finance, or infrastructure to play a leading role in the continued growth of a sophisticated and expanding practice.

The successful candidate will advise developers, investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, operators, and other key market participants on complex, high-value data center and infrastructure projects. Matters may include data center development and financing, power procurement and energy infrastructure, project finance, joint ventures, acquisitions, commercial agreements, and the structuring and execution of large-scale infrastructure investments.

With demand for data center capacity accelerating alongside growth in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure, this role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of energy, real estate, finance, and technology. The successful candidate will have the platform to take a leading role in significant transactions, deepen key client relationships, and help shape the strategic direction of a growing practice.

Requirements

• An established partner or senior attorney with substantial experience in data centers, energy, project finance, infrastructure, or a closely related transactional practice.
• A strong track record advising clients on complex commercial transactions, financings, development projects, or investments involving energy and infrastructure assets.
• Experience with data center development, power and energy arrangements, infrastructure financing, project development, or related commercial agreements is highly desirable.
• Strong market relationships with developers, investors, lenders, sponsors, operators, utilities, or other participants in the data center, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent technical, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, coupled with sound commercial judgment.
• A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work effectively across practice groups and lead sophisticated client engagements.
• Admission to practice in Washington, D.C., or eligibility for admission, as applicable.
