Overview Radiology Tech — Diagnostic Radiologic Tech in San Luis Obispo, California, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. The selected technologist will work on days, performing 12-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week in a healthcare imaging department. Compensation is $2,566 to $2,657 per week. - Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients prior to examination; adjust the x-ray equipment and determine appropriate voltage (kVp), current (mA), and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Verify exam requirements, ensure patient safety, apply shielding as needed, and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Review images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists or physicians regarding any adjustments.
- Maintain accurate imaging records, document exam details, and ensure equipment cleanliness and adherence to department policies.
- Active radiologic technologist license as required by the assignment
- Certification requirements as indicated by the job notes

- Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging setting and on days schedule
