• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
• Position and instruct patients prior to examination; adjust the x-ray equipment and determine appropriate voltage (kVp), current (mA), and exposure time for each radiograph.
• Verify exam requirements, ensure patient safety, apply shielding as needed, and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Review images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists or physicians regarding any adjustments.
• Maintain accurate imaging records, document exam details, and ensure equipment cleanliness and adherence to department policies.

• Active radiologic technologist license as required by the assignment
