Role Description The Marketing and Public Relations Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns with oil and FMCG partners, including promotion strategies, event coordination, and brand activation activities. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing campaign proposals, managing client communication, and tracking campaign performance and customer data. The role also involves drafting marketing and PR content, supporting social media and public relations outreach, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns that meet client objectives and uphold Samms Juke Box’s quality standards. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client relationships and engage with campaign participants. Experience in Market Research and Sales to analyze customer behavior, identify opportunities, and support campaign conversions. Ability to develop and implement effective Marketing Strategy aligned with client and company goals. Proven experience in marketing, public relations, or brand management, ideally in FMCG, retail, or related sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, presentation software) and familiarity with social media platforms. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines on-site. Comfort working in on-ground environments at partner locations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
