We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Textile Coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Research trends in the market and understand how to apply them to our price point.Meet with fabric vendors and attend trade showsRequest FDS sheets and work with suppliers on prices, minimums, fabric width, and fabric contentKeep PLM database system and related paperwork updated with current informationRequest swatches and source sub-proto yardage locally when necessaryKeep precise and detailed records of all fabric developments from initial adoption through to pre- productionKeep precise and detailed records of all wash developments from initial adoption through to pre- productionApprove all dup lot qualitiesMaintain Fabric libraryMiscellaneous organization, filing of fabrics, prints, color standard items.Work closely with Design team, Print Team, Corporate Textile team and our Hong Kong office.Assist in ordering all sample ydg for marketDaily communication for all fabric follow up with the millsCut 1/4 yd fabric cutting ref of all sample ydg received in house for our records/ file with FDSRequest all FDS from mills for ALL qualtities sampled and save in corp Share folderCut swatch of all sample ydg received and label with all fabric information for Design boardsAssist designers in pulling ydg for sample cuttingKeep sample ydg area neat and orderly every seasonHelp organize fabric selections by mill/category upon receipt
RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Must be very organized and detail orientedGreat time management and ability to multi-taskGreat aesthetic and brand understandingStrong background in woven and knit construction and developmentDegree in Textile DesignMinimum 3 years experience with fabric sourcing and developmentKnowledge of MS Office.Knowledge of PLM and Photoshop preferred
Salary Range: $75K - $85K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
