E-commerce & Operations Executive

Pleated Story is a growing women’s apparel D2C brand, and we’re looking for an E-commerce & Operations Executive to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, proactive and loves taking ownership. You’ll work closely with the founder and our production and fulfilment teams to make sure everything from order → production → dispatch → customer experience runs smoothly.

• Manage day-to-day orders and operations on Shopify
• Coordinate order fulfilment, packing and dispatch
• Track pending orders, deliveries, RTOs and courier issues
• Coordinate production requirements with the Master Tailor
• Track production, inventory and replenishment requirements
• Handle customer queries through WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels
• Manage exchanges, returns, order modifications and delivery-related queries
• Coordinate with courier partners and resolve operational issues
• Maintain daily operational reports and ensure tasks are followed through to closure
• Identify gaps in processes and help us build better systems as we scale

• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, operations or customer support
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills
• Excellent communication
• Comfortable with Shopify and spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Someone who takes ownership and solves problems independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, someone who sees a problem, takes ownership and gets it solved.
