A growing construction company is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join its team. This position is responsible for performing hands-on carpentry work across residential and/or commercial construction projects while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work throughout construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, and measurements.
• Frame walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and other structural components.
• Install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, and other finished carpentry components.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Identify and resolve construction issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous professional carpentry or construction experience.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
• Strong measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to consistently report to jobsites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely perform physical construction work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
