Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of litigation and/or clerkship experience, with an interest in commercial, employment, trademark, and other intellectual property litigation matters. This role offers opportunities to engage in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal, across federal and state courts and arbitration.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs.
• Engage in discovery processes.
• Participate in oral advocacy and depositions.
• Contribute to trial practice and appeals.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• One to three years of litigation and/or clerkship experience.
• Interest in hands-on litigation work, including depositions and oral arguments.
• New York bar admission or eligibility for prompt admission.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• New York bar admission preferred.
• New Jersey bar admission is a plus.
