Sign Language Interpreter (Part-time) - 30-week assignment in or near New Oxford, PA. Provide in-person ASL interpretation during school hours, collaborating with students and staff to ensure accessibility. Competitive pay and benefits support your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person ASL interpretation during academic programming at New Oxford High School

• Collaborate with students, teachers, and staff to facilitate effective communication

• Use expertise to ensure accessibility and inclusion for all students

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and standards

• Support students with ASL interpretation during regular school hours, primarily on Mondays and Fridays or any two days as agreed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• EIPA 3.5 or higher

• Minimum 1 year interpreting experience in a school setting

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Must provide in-person interpretation support during school hours (8:00 am - 3:30 pm)

• Reliable transportation for commuting to New Oxford High School

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work with students and staff

• Flexibility to work on Mondays and Fridays or any two days preferred

• Background check
