Physical Therapist Intern

As a Physical Therapist Intern at MedStar Health, you will support licensed therapists in delivering evidence-based rehabilitation services across our Maryland–Washington, D.C. system. Under direct supervision, you’ll assist with patient assessments, implement treatment plans, document progress in the EMR, and help coordinate safe discharges. You’ll learn in a collaborative, patient-first environment with access to advanced clinical practices, mentorship, and structured education, building skills in therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and interdisciplinary teamwork while serving diverse communities.
