OpenTrain AI · United States
FULL TIMEtemporary
Job Description
• $100–$170 per hour• 100% remote• Part-time• Fully flexible schedule
Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the employment law expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal professionals. The teams building them need employment lawyers to work through realistic workplace scenarios, assess AI-produced legal work for accuracy and completeness, write corrections a practicing attorney would stand behind, and point out precisely where its reasoning breaks down. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of legal AI models works. This is that work, done remotely, around your current job.
What you'll do• Work through employment law scenarios, calling out the main legal issues and risks• Check the accuracy and completeness of AI-generated analyses, arguments, and legal documents• Spot legal errors, omitted information, and gaps in legal reasoning• Give structured feedback and write corrections to strengthen the AI's legal work
Why this is worth your time• Get paid $100–$170 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most employment lawyers will not have for years• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping employment law, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for• Hold a J.D. from a law school in the United States• Hold an active license to practise law in one or more U.S. states or in the District of Columbia• Bring more than three years' experience in substantive legal practice, preferably in employment or labor law; have strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, and document review skills, write excellent English, and maintain close attention to detail• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details• $100–$170 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
