Cardiovascular Sonographer | Tampa, FL/Wesley Chapel, FLLooking for a weekday sonography role with a broad mix of cardiac and vascular studies? Join a well-established healthcare organization in Tampa as a full-time, direct-hire Cardiovascular Sonographer.You’ll perform diagnostic studies for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric, helping the care team deliver accurate, high-quality patient care.ScheduleMonday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.No nights or weekendsSome holiday coverageWhat you’ll doPerform and document cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures according to department standards.Adapt exams to each patient’s medical needs and gather information to support accurate interpretation.Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, contrast and agitated saline studies, and assist with TEE procedures.Perform carotid, abdominal, and upper- and lower-extremity arterial and venous studies, including ABIs, PVRs, post-ablation exams, and bypass graft, stent, and endarterectomy imaging.Calculate and report findings accurately while helping procedures run smoothly and on time.What you’ll bringCompletion of a two-year cardiac or vascular ultrasound program.At least two years of diagnostic sonography experience, including cardiac and adult vascular ultrasound.RDCS, RCS, and/or RVT certification in the appropriate modality.Basic EKG knowledge.BLS certification upon hire or within 90 days.High school diploma or equivalent.Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, short- and long-term disability, additional supplemental plans, a 403(b) with employer match, and tuition reimbursement.
