Accounting Manager

Aegis is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager to join our client's organization in Chicago. This is a hybrid position (3 days a week OS and 2 remote. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.7+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.3+ years of experience of public accounting – ie. Consulting or public firm experienceFinancial reporting experience using SAP or similar ERP platformExperience preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. – will be leading month/quarter/yearly end close. Monthly – 5 days, quarterly – 7-8 business days, yearly – takes multiple weeks.Advanced Microsoft Excel experienceExperience managing at least 1 direct report.Experience leading the annual external audit process150M+ in rev company size experienceRequired – travel; once per quarter. xzbcwsv (Regional Travel)
Preferred qualifications:CPAAdditional education – masters degree.Background where the candidate has been broad and hands-on rather than highly specialized within a very large corporation
