Equipment Operator Senior - NDOT

This position is in the Roads Division of the Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT). The incumbent is responsible for operating various types of large complex vehicles and equipment associated with road maintenance including performing other skilled and unskilled labor functions. This position requires the employee to operate but not limited to the following equipment: pavers, milling machines, bucket trucks, or knuckle Booms. Various shifts will require the employee to work an irregular schedule, including most evenings, occasional overtime. This position is on call 24 hours and is required to respond during declared emergencies or severe weather activities.
