The ideal candidate combines exceptional financial modeling skills with strong transaction execution experience, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate the impact of potential transactions and capital raises on Bitcoin per share under various Bitcoin price, trading premium, and share issuance scenarios.
- Conduct financial, commercial, and structural due diligence while coordinating with external advisors as needed.
- Prepare Board and committee presentations, transaction memoranda, and investment recommendations.
- Manage the corporate development pipeline, tracking opportunities, key milestones, ownership, and next steps.
- Support transaction execution from initial evaluation through signing, closing, and integration planning.
- Monitor the Bitcoin treasury sector, including comparable companies, capital structures, equity issuance activity, valuation metrics, and precedent transactions.
- Translate market developments and competitor activity into actionable insights for the company's capital allocation and strategic decisions.
- Develop recurring reporting on capital deployment and Bitcoin per share performance.
- Partner with Capital Markets, Accounting, and FP&A to ensure consistency across internal analysis, financial reporting, and external disclosures.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a comparable transaction-oriented role.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including valuation, accretion/dilution, three-statement modeling, and scenario and sensitivity analysis built from scratch.
- Experience producing financial analysis and recommendations used in investment committee or Board-level decisions.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of how transaction structures impact financial statements and capital structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, recommendation-driven transaction materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to model integrity, assumptions, and source documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously, establish processes, and manage multiple priorities within a lean team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Investment banking analyst and associate experience at a bulge-bracket bank or leading independent advisory firm.
- Private equity or principal investing experience.
- Public company experience and familiarity with SEC filings and financial reporting.
- Exposure to digital assets, Bitcoin mining, Bitcoin treasury strategies, or related sectors.
