Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Product Development ManagerResponsibilitiesManage the product development lifecycle from concept through productionMonitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all milestones and deadlines are metManage and coordinate Product Development activities across multiple apparel categories and wholesale accounts based on business and customer requirementsSource new fabrics and trims to support seasonal developmentOrder and track proto samples and sample yardage; create and maintain sample and fabric tracking chartsMaintain fabric, trim, and product approval librariesTrack samples from vendors as neededIssue approval comments on lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics, and trimsCommunicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories, and sample roomsCreate and manage bulk Bills of Materials (BOMs) for factoriesResolve development and bulk production issues while proactively identifying solutionsAttend all relevant cross-functional meetings and follow up on outstanding action itemsPartner closely with Design, Fabric R&D, Production, and Sales teams throughout the development processPrioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing business needs and shifting prioritiesQualifications6+ years of product development experience within wholesale apparelStrong understanding of the product lifecycle from concept through productionExperience supporting multiple apparel product categories and wholesale accounts simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of Time & Action (T&A) processes and calendar managementExperience working with overseas vendors, mills, and factoriesStrong knowledge of apparel product development across knit, woven, denim, or other ready-to-wear categoriesExperience within high-volume branded, private label, or wholesale apparel businesses preferredProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM, and Microsoft ExcelStrong critical thinking, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize multiple deadlines, work independently, and proactively drive solutions
