Job OverviewA law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate to join their trademark, copyright, advertising, and media practice in Chicago, IL. This role involves working on trademark, copyright, and advertising issues, including counseling, prosecution, and contentious matters in courts and before relevant boards and divisions.
DutiesHandle trademark, copyright, and advertising issues.Engage in both counseling and prosecution matters.Participate in contentious matters in courts and before relevant boards.
Requirements2-5 years' experience in trademark law.Experience with copyright, advertising, licensing, sweepstakes, and privacy matters is a plus.Excellent academic credentials.Strong written and oral communication skills.Collaborative and motivated with a client-focused approach.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsAdmitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
