  • Responsible for achieving daily/shift-wise production targets as per production plan and schedule.
  • Handle machining and assembly line production and ensure smooth shift operations.
  • Allocate manpower and supervise blue-collar associates, trainees and apprentices.
  • Monitor production, quality, safety and process parameters to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and other functions for smooth production.
  • Monitor machine settings, first-piece inspection, tool status, material availability and production issues.
  • Identify and resolve machine breakdowns, quality issues, rejections and production losses.
  • Maintain shift reports, production records and Data History Sheets (DHS).
  • Drive OEE, productivity, tool life, cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support new product development, trial runs, prototype production and process improvements.
  • Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) and ensure adherence to safety, quality and production procedures.
