Job Title: Assistant Manager – PLC / Automation
Industry: Refrigerator & Washing Machine Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced PLC/Automation professional to manage and support automation systems across refrigerator and washing machine manufacturing lines. The role involves PLC programming, troubleshooting, process automation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs for manufacturing lines.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC, HMI, Servo Motors & Drives .
- Troubleshoot automation, robots, SPMs, vision systems, scanners, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Support commissioning, machine integration and third-party systems.
- Drive OEE improvement, energy saving, low-cost automation and process improvement .
- Maintain PLC documentation and provide technical training to maintenance/operations teams.
- Work with vendors for automation projects and hardware/software requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC & SINAMICS .
- Experience in PLC programming, Industry 4.0 and communication protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in 12-hour rotational shifts (Day/Night) .
