Role Description The Hindi Afterschool Enrichment Curriculum Developer is a part-time contract remote role responsible for designing, organizing, and refining Hindi language curriculum for afterschool programs and camps. This role includes creating age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and assessments that build reading, writing, speaking, and cultural awareness in Hindi. The curriculum developer will collaborate with program coordinators and instructors to align materials with school objectives and Talentnook’s mission, and to ensure lessons are engaging and inclusive.

Tasks involve researching best practices in language instruction, updating and documenting curriculum resources, providing guidance and support to instructors, and incorporating feedback from schools and learners to improve content. The role also requires coordinating timelines for curriculum rollout, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring materials are accessible for diverse learning styles and backgrounds.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Curriculum Development skills, including creating structured, age-appropriate learning pathways for Hindi enrichment. Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills to develop engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored to varied learning styles. Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to collaborate with educators, coordinators, and stakeholders in a remote environment. Candidates should possess solid Writing skills for drafting instructional materials, student handouts, and teacher guides in a clear and accurate manner. Candidates should possess Research skills to identify best practices in Hindi language education, enrichment methodologies, and culturally relevant content. Proficiency in Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking) and strong command of English for bilingual curriculum development. Experience designing language or enrichment curricula for K–5 students, preferably in an afterschool or camp setting. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Language Studies, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects remotely, and meet deadlines in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
