ERP HCM Lead | ERP Transformation & AdvisoryRemote with Regular Travel during first quarter to Nashville, TNFull 40 hour work week Contract through June 2027 | Multi-Year Initiative Anticipated

We’re seeking an experienced ERP HCM Lead / Transformation Advisor to support a large-scale, multi-year ERP modernization initiative within the public sector.This is an opportunity to join the project before the ERP platform has even been selected and play a key role in shaping the strategy, business processes, and requirements that will guide the transformation.
What You’ll DoLead and support an ERP Readiness Assessment, evaluating current systems, processes, workflows, and organizational needs.Partner directly with State users and business stakeholders to understand how work is actually being performed today.Document, validate, and refine current-state workflows and business processes.Lead Business Process Improvement (BPI) efforts to identify gaps, pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Develop process artifacts including workflow diagrams, requirements, process documentation, issue logs, and current-state assessments.Translate business needs into clear requirements and recommendations to support the future ERP strategy.Support the upcoming ERP platform RFP and vendor selection process. The platform is currently agnostic.Help establish the foundation for the future System Integrator (SI) selection and implementation.Serve as a trusted advisor between State users, IT, leadership, vendors, and future implementation partners.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both executive and technical audiences.

Exceptional CommunicationYou can facilitate conversations, build stakeholder relationships, simplify complex concepts, and communicate effectively with both business and executive audiences.2. Government / Public Sector ExperienceExperience working with State Government, Public Sector, or similarly complex environments is highly preferred.3. Strong ERP ExperienceDemonstrated experience leading or advising on ERP/HCM transformation, modernization, readiness, implementation, or business process initiatives.Additional experience with HCM, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, or Workforce Management is a plus.We’re looking for someone who is platform agnostic and brings a consultative mindset — someone who can understand the business first and help determine how technology should ultimately support it.
