Senior Ultrasound Technologist

Description Performs a variety of sonographic examinations dealing with OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts. Expectations also include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures. Performs abdominal Doppler studies of the liver and liver transplants, as well as performing Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams. One additional certification i.e. Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal translucency or the Neonatal specialty is required for sonographer 2 status. Makes a clinical judgment of the patient's condition, based on information obtained from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and personal assessments.
