About the Company

The Zonal Facilities Head is a strategic leader accountable for the complete end-to-end management of all infrastructure and facilities within a specific zone. This role's core purpose is to drive operational excellence by ensuring every facility functions efficiently and compliantly. And responsible for optimizing operational costs, fostering a safe and productive environment, and consistently achieving the Zonal Management Plan and all key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement facilities strategy for the zone, aligning with organizational goals and long-term vision.
• Conduct strategic planning for future infrastructure needs, technology adoption, and service enhancements.
• Analyze market trends and best practices in facilities management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Forecast future resource requirements, including budget and vendor needs.
• Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Establish, review, and continuously improve facilities policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance across all locations.
• Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) for all vendor engagements, ensuring clarity and accountability.
• Ensure all policies and procedures adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Facilities Management
• Strategic Leadership sets the vision for facilities and infrastructure management in the zone.
• Operational Excellence to ensure the smooth and compliant functioning of all facilities.
• Financial Stewardship and accountable for optimizing costs and managing budgets effectively.
• People Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Regional Facility Managers and Facility Officers.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and establish clear individual and team deliverables.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Manage team resource allocation and workload to ensure optimal efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education
• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Essential: Minimum of 15 years of experience in multi-site facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing large teams and extensive branch networks.
• Proven track record of managing large budgets (both Opex and Capex) and achieving cost efficiencies.
• In-depth knowledge of facilities operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, mailroom services, and vendor management.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements related to facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in facilities management software and financial management tools.
