Software asset management (sam) operations analyst

We are looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Operations Analyst to support software licensing, compliance, license optimization, and software asset lifecycle management within a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage software license lifecycle activities including renewals, true-ups, terminations, and entitlement management.
Perform license harvesting, reclamation, and optimization activities.
Support software compliance, audits, and governance processes.
Execute Flexera reports and analyze software utilization data.
Manage software licensing requests and Saa S subscription operations.
Support publisher management activities for Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and other strategic vendors.
Prepare operational reports, utilization metrics, and business reviews.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, procurement, and licensing teams.
Required Skills
3-6 years of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience.
Hands-on experience with Flexera and Service Now SAM.
Understanding of software licensing models and compliance.
Experience in license lifecycle management and optimization.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, or SAP licensing exposure.
ITIL Foundation, CSAM, CITAM, or Flexera certifications.
Experience with software audits and compliance programs.
