Job Title: Project Manager (Real Estate) Location: South Mumbai
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 8+ years
Job Overview: The Project Manager in a real estate development company is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of real estate projects. They ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee all phases of real estate development, from land acquisition to project handover.
Ensure compliance with zoning laws, permits, and regulatory requirements.
2. Team Coordination & Leadership: Lead and manage architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to project teams while ensuring efficiency.
Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
3. Budgeting & Cost Management: Monitor project costs, control expenditures, and ensure budget adherence.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Approve vendor contracts, invoices, and material purchases.
4. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure construction meets industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical or design issues.
Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
5. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government authorities, legal teams, and financial institutions.
Maintain communication with investors, clients, and internal teams.
Address customer queries related to project timelines and handovers.
Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years in real estate project management, construction, or infrastructure development.
Software Knowledge: MS Project, Primavera, Auto CAD, ERP, or construction management tools.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: PMP (Project Management Professional).
Experience managing residential or mixed-use development projects.
Knowledge of RERA regulations and local building codes.
